Moors Valley

Project overview

Moors Valley Country Park & Forest is one of the South’s best-loved family days out — over 1,000 acres of forest, play trails, adventure golf and its famous steam railway, run in partnership between Dorset Council and Forestry England.

Media House was brought in to do what we do best: make a great destination look as good on screen as it feels in person. We produced the park’s promotional film — from the forest trails and adventure golf to the Adventure Valley Mini Land Rover course, where children take the wheel of miniature Land Rovers on their own off-road adventure — shot in 4K, from the air and on the ground.

Challenges & constraints

A destination like Moors Valley doesn’t have one audience — it has families on the adventure golf, walkers on the forest trails, and day-trippers deciding between a dozen options for the weekend. The film had to capture the scale of the place and the energy of a family day out in under a minute, without feeling like a brochure.

Project solution

We filmed across the park in 4K — drone work over the adventure golf and forest canopy, ground filming with real families on the trails and the Mini Land Rover course — and cut it into a fast, warm, sixty-second film built for the channels where day-out decisions actually happen: the website, social feeds and paid placements.

The result is the park, honestly told at broadcast standard: the kind of film that makes someone watching on a Tuesday plan their Saturday.

Let’s address your questions today

Media House is a creative agency for destination brands. We cover branding and identity, web design and development, digital marketing, content creation, social media management, PPC, and live broadcasting. In practice that means we can take a brand from strategy and positioning right through to broadcast-quality video, a high-performing website, and the campaigns that drive enquiries and bookings — all under one roof, working as an extension of your team.

It depends on scope. A focused piece of work like a content shoot or landing page can turn around in a couple of weeks, while a full website rebuild or brand identity typically runs over six to eight weeks. Ongoing partnerships such as social media management or retained content run month to month. We'll give you a clear, realistic timeline during the initial consultation so you know exactly what to expect before we start.

Absolutely. We work with founders, independent operators, and small teams as well as larger destinations and attractions. Our lean model means you get senior-level strategy and high-quality output without big-agency overheads, and we tailor the scope to fit your goals and budget — so the work makes commercial sense whatever your size.

Yes. We can audit, refine, and build on what you already have, whether that's improving design and usability, fixing performance and SEO, adding new functionality, or refreshing content. If a full rebuild is the better long-term option we'll tell you honestly — but we're just as happy improving an existing site where that's the right call.
