What we collect
When you contact us or book a call: your name, email address, phone number, business name and anything you write in your message.
When you join our newsletter: your first name and email address, and the date you subscribed.
When you take the Marketing Scorecard: your contact details, your business name and website, your answers, your score, and the results of an automatic check of your website's homepage.
When you become a client: the details we need to deliver the work, invoice you and keep proper business records.
When you browse the site, and only if you allow it: how you use the site (pages viewed, how you arrived, your device and browser type, and an approximate location from your IP address). See our cookie policy. Why we use it, and our legal basis
To reply to your enquiry and arrange calls you've booked: our legitimate interest in answering people who contact us, or steps you've asked us to take before a contract.
To send your scorecard results and one follow-up email about them: our legitimate interest, as explained when you sign up. You can opt out with one click.
To send our newsletter and marketing emails: your consent. You can unsubscribe from any email at any time.
To deliver work for clients and keep accounts: performance of our contract with you, and our legal obligations.
To understand how the site is used and improve it: your consent, given through the cookie banner.
Who we share it with
We don't sell your information. We use a small number of trusted providers to run our business, who only process it on our instructions:
HubSpot: our CRM, website forms, newsletter, emails and meeting booking. Your HubSpot data is stored in the EU.
Google: Google Analytics (only with your consent) and Google Workspace for our email.
Hostinger: hosts our websites, including the Marketing Scorecard and its database.
Resend: sends the Marketing Scorecard emails.
Our accountants and professional advisers, where needed for our legal obligations.
Some of these providers are based in, or use servers in, the United States. Where information leaves the UK, it's protected by the UK–US Data Bridge or the standard contractual safeguards approved under UK law.
How long we keep it
Enquiries, scorecard results and prospect records: up to two years after our last contact, unless you become a client.
Newsletter subscribers: until you unsubscribe.
Client and financial records: six years after the end of the financial year they relate to, as UK tax law requires.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, ask us to stop or limit how we use it, object to us using it for our legitimate interests, or ask for it in a portable format. Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time. Email admin@mediahouse.ltd and we'll reply within one month.
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, please tell us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
Changes to this policy
We'll update this page if anything changes, and the date at the top will show when it was last revised.
