Why an audit

“Can you tell me which of your marketing produced last month’s sales?”

It’s the first question we ask every new client, and most can’t answer it. Not because they aren’t trying: the website, the socials, the emails and the ads were all set up at different times, by different people, and nobody has looked at them together.

An audit is that look. We go through every part of your marketing the way your customers meet it, score it against what works, and tell you plainly where sales are slipping through, what to fix first, and roughly what it’s worth.

What we score

Twelve areas. Eighty-eight checkpoints.

Each checkpoint is scored from missing to strong, with the evidence written down. Weighted by how much it moves sales, they add up to a score out of 100 for every area.

01

Strategy & goals

Whether marketing is aimed at a number, with a plan and a budget behind it.

02

Messaging & positioning

Whether a stranger gets what you do, who it’s for and why you, in five seconds.

03

Brand & identity

Whether the business looks as good as it is, and the same everywhere.

04

Awareness & reputation

Reviews, your Google profile, press and what people find when they look you up.

05

Website & conversion

Speed, mobile, calls to action and trust: whether visitors become enquiries and sales.

06

Search & SEO

Whether you show up when people search for what you sell, on Google and in AI answers.

07

Social media

Whether social builds an audience that buys, not just one that likes.

08

Video & photography

Whether your pictures and films make people want what you sell.

09

Email & CRM

Whether you keep in touch with people who’ve shown interest, and sell to them again.

10

Paid advertising

Whether Google, Meta and LinkedIn spend is targeted, tracked and profitable.

11

Tracking & attribution

Whether you can say which marketing produced last month’s sales.

12

Customer journey & retention

Whether enquiries are followed up fast, and customers come back and refer.
