Project overview

The primary objective was to modernise the digital footprint of the care home, ensuring their online presence accurately reflected the high standard of compassionate care provided on-site. The home required a more effective way to communicate with residents’ families while showcasing their facilities and community life to prospective residents. We stepped in to overhaul their digital strategy, focusing on web design and social media management to create a transparent, welcoming, and informative gateway for the public.

By revitalising their online touchpoints, we helped the care home build trust within the local community and provided a platform for sharing the heartwarming stories that happen within their doors every day.

Challenges & constraints

Prior to our involvement, the care home’s website was outdated and difficult to navigate, failing to provide the essential information families need during what is often a stressful transition period. Additionally, their social media channels were largely inactive, leaving a void in communication and community engagement.

Rebranding a care home requires a high degree of sensitivity. We had to ensure that all content—particularly photography and video—respected resident privacy and dignity while still managing to convey the vibrant, active atmosphere of the home. Building a strategy from scratch meant establishing new workflows for staff to share updates safely and consistently.

Project solution

We designed and launched a brand-new, mobile-responsive website with a focus on user experience and accessibility. This included clear navigation for care services, easy-to-use enquiry forms, and a dedicated “Life at the Home” section. Simultaneously, we took full control of their Facebook and Instagram presence, implementing a content programme that balanced professional service updates with authentic, “behind-the-scenes” glimpses of resident activities and celebrations.

The result is a cohesive digital identity that has significantly increased enquiry rates and improved family engagement. The care home now possesses a digital platform that truly mirrors its physical environment: warm, professional, and deeply committed to the well-being of its community.
